The crew delivered another action packed episode of the Morning Roar. We had a juicy Twitter poll question, asking you which host’s saga you found most compelling? Allison went into details of her efforts as WXVU Station Manager to get the station played in the Connelly Center!
The crew also discussed silly things they believed when they were younger, and kicked around which restaurant they’d most likely to be seen at after escaping from jail. IHOP, indeed, is a candidate.
The mind bender featured some March Madness trivia! Yes, Dom may have gotten some cupcakes this time around, but did David remember Scottie Reynolds’ floater in 2009?
Our guests at 8:30 were Simran Mishra, a sophomore Finance and Management Information Systems major, who is the VISO (Villanova International Student Organization Senator), and Marisa Somich, Villanova’s Student Involvement Advisor, who came by to discuss the Holi festival happening at the Oreo on Sunday.
And last but not least, at 8:45, we were joined by our broadcast crew of Jacob Artz and Zac Tipton, live from Greenville, SC! The guys gave us an excellent breakdown of the Villanova-Miami Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament, the first time the women’s team has made the Sweet 16 since 2003. They also discussed Maddy Siegrist’s place in Villanova basketball history, and detailed their experience of calling women’s games for WXVU this historic season.
