Ritt Momney

Ritt Momney performed at the Foundry in Philadelphia on November 3, 2023. Ritt Momney is a three-man indie band with lead singer Jack Rutter, Rick West on the drums, and Chris Peranich on the guitar. The concert was very intimate as there were only about 200 people in the 450-capacity venue. The opener, GirlPuppy, came on exactly on time and played some very beautiful songs. Ritt Momney came out around 9:10 pm and surprisingly, they did not play their hit cover song ‘Put Your Records On,’ but rather stuck to some songs from their albums. Their setlist consisted of a mix of their albums Sunny Boy and Her and All of My Friends. They also added in some unreleased songs that they are planning to put on a future album. Ritt Momney sounded exactly like the recorded versions of their songs the voice, the drums, the guitar, and the piano. 

The best part of the show was getting to meet Jack Rutter, the lead singer of the band. After the show, Jack Rutter, his girlfriend, and Girlpuppy were all at the back of the venue selling merch. This was a great opportunity to get a picture or ask for a signature. They were all super friendly and overall this is one of the best shows I have been to.
