Written by on December 13, 2022

Father Peter recently sent out an email explaining that Villanova has been selected to host the 2023 Opus Prize, which will be awarded on our campus in November 2023. The Opus Prize is awarded annually to individuals or organizations who champion faith-filled change and are working to solve the world’s most persistent social issues. Each year, the Opus Prize Foundation partners with a Catholic university to award a monetary prize. It is one of the world’s largest faith-based awards for social entrepreneurship.

In other news, the Career Center has sent out information regarding a Winter Break Job Shadow. If you are interested in pursuing what comes next in your professional journey, there are several opportunities to shadow alumni, as hundreds of alumni have volunteered to host a student for a job shadow over Winter Break. Students can reach out to alumni directly to set up a visit via Nova Network. For more information, visit the career center’s website or log in to Nova Network.
