The 34th Fall Festival will be taking place this weekend on November 4-6th. The Special Olympics Pennsylvania Fall Festival is hosted and organized by Villanova students and is the largest annual student-run Special Olympics event in the world. Special Olympics Pennsylvania provides year-round sports training and competition for more than 20,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics is an international organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Special Olympics offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in 26 Olympic-type summer and winter sports. Be sure to check out Fall Festival events this weekend all across campus on Saturday and Sunday!
In other news, the application process for students interested in joining the resident assistants team for the Spring 2023 semester and the 2023-2024 Academic Year have opened! Zoom information sessions are available to meet with some current RAs to learn more about this opportunity. All fall Zoom links are also available on the Residence Hall Life web page under “RA Selection Timeline.” There will also be additional information sessions in January if you are not able to join this week. All candidates will need to submit a Cover Letter and Resume with their application.
