Radnor is a lively place and sometimes it can be hard to keep up with what’s happening around town and on the Main Line. An easy way to keep up with everything happening is via Facebook groups focused on specific places and interests. For Main Line Restaurant Reviews check out the facebook group for good suggestions for dining out, news of new eateries and general goodwill about dining out in Radnor and the rest of the Main Line. Another useful Facebook group is The Wayne Radnor Community Network page. This is a great place to share business and community news tips and information. Finally, the Wayne Business Association page can keep you informed if you’re a business owner or a community booster in Wayne
In other news, PennDOT and contractor crews are still working to fix potholes across the Philadelphia region this week, including more than a dozen roads in Delaware County.
Crews will restrict travel lanes on state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Drivers are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent and some of the main roads being worked on include Interstate 476 near Ridley, Springfield, Nether Providence, Marple, Haverford, and Radnor townships. Drivers can report potholes and other poor road conditions by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting PennDOT’s website and clicking on “Submit A Roadway Concern.”
